Kenai
River King Salmon
The world Famous Kenai River is glacial
turquoise water where the largest Chinook "King"
Salmon can be caught. World Record: May 17, 1985 on
the Kenai River: 97 lbs. 4oz.
With the majority
of Kings running in the 30 to 60 pound range, it is
not uncommon for Dan's guests to catch a 50 to 80
pounder.
A catch like this can only 
come from the Kenai River.

To Catch a Coho
Coho, known as Silver Salmon enter the Kenai River
in late July and run well into late September.
Fished on light tackle they average 6-15 pounds. On
even years the August Silver run is accompanied by
huge schools of Pink Salmon. With a Pink on the
line almost every cast, this is a favorite time for
the whole family. "Bring the Kids."
